Altun Ha Ruins and places to eat

We will be doing the Altun Ha Mayan Ruins through NCL in October. It will last for over 4 hours. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to eat lunch? We usually buy cashew wine at the pier and don't want to wander off too far.

If the tour includes lunch, the cruise ship will have a place. If you're on your own, some independent tours stop at the Black Orchid Resort and eat at their restaurant.

You'll need to stay with the ship group for transportation, so if no lunch stop, just head back to the tourist village and grab some conch fritters or meat pies at the Wet Lizard. With a cold Belikin of course.:)

have a big breakfast and you can take some pre-packaged snacks with you ...no lunch or stops provided with this tour ...snacks were available at the ruins with beer and cashew wine...wait til you get back to the port to eat or the ship.
