How can I find out if our GS in on the hump?

Recommended Posts

I was wondering if someone could tell me if our suite is on the hump? We are in #1274. Is there a picture or deck plan that shows the rooms on the humps? I think we are listed as "forward". Is there anything wrong with this room? I had read that on the explorer it is enclosed and that sun will be shaded. Is this true? How is the balcony in this GS? Any opinions would be appreciated- and would you switch to another room?

Hi Diva,

Cabin 1274 on the Explorer is not on the hump, the only GS on the hump is 1324. If you go to the RCI website and do a search on ships, you can click on the Explorer and click on the deck plan you want to see.....it shows the entire deck, including the cabins on the hump :)

I just booked 1324 on the Adventure ( also a Voyageur class ship) for Jan/06, we are pretty excited about our first time in a GS!

I don't think your balcony in 1274 would be any more shady than any other balcony, they all have roofs!
