Aquaventure plus dolphins? Is there time?

We will be taking our first cruise May 2012 on the Allure of the Seas. The first stop is at Nassau, Bahamas docking 7am and departing 3pm. We want to do the Aquaventure, but see that the slides don't open until 10:00am. We also see that the dolphin interactions begin as early as 8:30 am and last 90-120 minutes total. So, we were wondering if there is time to do both adventures by doing the dolphins early and then the aquaventure next. Has anyone done this before with any success? Also, if the ship departs at 3:00, what time do you need to leave for the ship? Thanks so much!!!! We can use all the advice we can get!

Only way would be to have the 8:30 am dolphin time and then it will be a rush for the aquadventure since your ship departs at 3 pm. I would leave Atlantis by 1 pm.

Do a search for my Atlantis review on this board. At about 2 pm, I met 4 young girls who had done the dolphin encounter first and were just getting to the aquadventure slides. Don't know what time they did the dolphins though.

Hopefully in May you wouldn't have too long of lines for the slides. If you can get done with the dolpins by 10-10:30 am you should be able to do most, if not all the slides by 1 pm. Depending on how crowded it is that day, you might not have time to eat til you get back on the ship in order to get in all the slides. The layout at Atlanis is confusing and it can be hard to find your way around at first, which takes time out of your day.

Aquaventure is big and if its crowded some of the larger rides can have long lines. I went last year and waited almost an hour in one line. Also, I read a few reviews on the Dolphins at Atlantis and people have said they had to wait quite some time to get in the water with the dolphins. I'm not sure if it would be worth all the rushing since you would have to leave early to get to the boat.
