Downtown Seattle to Seatac

I read somewhere that the cabs have a fixed rate of $35 from DT Seattle to the airport. Can anyone verify this? I figured they would be metered but I like the idea of a fixed rate. Thanks.

its actually $32 from anywhere in the downtown hotel zone. Most all hotels in downtown are within the 'zone'. Many times towncars are available for almost the same price so ask your hotel. This is only FROM downtown. Normally it would be about $40-45

Thanks! I was considering staying at The Mayflower or the Sheraton. I assume both of these places are in the DT zone and therefore would fall under the $32 fare to the airport.

 

I will also check into the towncar situation. Have you heard of a company called A Plus Town Car. I saw it mentioned that they charge a $40 flat fare in either direction with advance reservations.
