jordans mom Posted August 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2011 Anyone have a recommendation on where to get a SAFE henna tattoo in Wakiki? I am looking for real Henna - and a place that is clean. :o I am sure I can find several "stands" while I am there - but better if I can zero in and do some research as we only have a few days before and 1 day after the cruise!
jjduck Posted August 3, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Hello mom-of-Jordan :D On this board is a fantastic review by "kwbound" and I'm pretty sure she talks about getting such a tatoo in waikiki. Her post is a few threads below yours. Another great planner/reviewer/writer is Cruising Goddess. Wow, they sure know how to research and write about it after. AND, btw, while I'm here: When the guys go golf, have them drop you off at Ala Moana shopping center (or you take the car!). There's a Hilo Hattie's there, also Macys and Sears. I know you're not a shopper (me neither), but you might want to see what's available. You can grab a bite of lunch at the food court; maybe try some "local" food. Then take the short walk out of the mall over to Walmart. There's also a Ross (discount store) across-ish from Walmart. Hey, while you're at it, you can go Ala Moana beach. It's also across the street from the mall (in the other direction). Also walkable to/from waikiki (depending on where you're staying) OK, starting to ramble. Hope this helps! Noreen.
