NCL Pearl Specialty Restaurants

My Dh and I will be sailing on the Pearl this Christmas - curious if anyone has been recently and knows when Mambos is scheduled to be replaced with Moderno.

 

I wanted to plan specialty restaurants in advance (I know we cant book, but want to be prepared when we board).

 

Also, do they still have a lobster night in the MDR - and if so, when?

There is always a lobster night in every MDR on every NCL ship. The night varies by ship.

I am going on the Pearl next month, I don't have a problem paying extra for a more personal dining experiance but I would like to know; Do I have to pay cash or will it go on my room card?

I was on Pearl last week and didn't know Mambo's was going away. Judging by the lack of people eating there, this is probably a good thing. We ate there once. I got fajitas, wife got beef burrito and they made my daughter a special bean and cheese burrito. It was all good, but not what we're used to in Phoenix. They didn't charge my daughter anything extra since she didn't order from the menu which we thought was nice.
