Malaria?

Please give your opinion on whether to get vaccines for malaria and/or other diseases...we are going to the Lamanai ruins which are in the jungle area

That web site is scarry. Anyway, I lived there for three years, I had Hep. shots, before I went. I used repellent with deet, and was still bitten from time to time, I drank the drinks with ice. Used bottled water, ate all the food, at stands and in the street. Brushed my teeth with tap water. I was never sick a day. So use some repellent with deet and forget about it. Have fun..
