I wonder if anyone else has noticed the difference in the NCL websites regarding bringing wine on board ship. The American website says any size bottle of wine can be brought on board for a $15 corkage fee. However on the EU website it is a 75ccl. bottle for the same price. Can anyone give me any further info on which is correct. Obviously if the American one is correct it pays to buy the ltr.bottles. Also am I correct in thinking that when you want to drink this wine you must carry it around the ship with you. Never cruised NCL before so any help would be amazing.:confused:

We have taken on different size bottles a few times, example white in liter size and reds smaller and have never been questioned on size but have always paid $15 per bottle no matter the size.

You can carry your wine to a restaurant. They will keep your wine if you want, give you a claim check, and you can have the left over wine brought to you at any restaurant next time.

We have on several occasions had our cabin steward take our wine to the restaurant we will be dining at that particular evening. They usually take it during the day and that way if it needs chilling or decanting the staff has the time to provide this for us. It works like a charm.

The UK website might be out of date. Not sure. Used to be $15 for .75 l and $20 for 1.0 l. Now it's $15 per bottle regardless of size. Once you pay the corkage fee, you can drink it freestyle (whenever, where ever, with whom ever!)
