Your arrival date in Dubrovnik is important, since the ferries are seasonal. You can catch one of the small boats which depart from the old port in the old town to Cavtat. Trip is about 45 minutes one way, cost is 80 Kuna round trip. Make sure you ask for the boat which is direct, there are some which also stop in Mlini and or Plat, making the time longer.

There is also a bus which departs from the main bus terminal in the Gruz harbor, #10 which is another option. Also depends on where your ship is docked or at anchor.
