OldJerseycruiser Posted August 5, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2011 You will find Oceana a very friendly ship, perfect size and the food when we were on it in February, second to none. I think my mother had your cabin on her Panama Canal cruise last November and she didn't have any problems. Enjoy your cruise!
LibraLass41 Posted August 5, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Hello Audrey and Dennis Oceana is a lovely ship, we went to the Fjords in Norway on her, here are some photos of the ship, (click the link) https://picasaweb.google.com/AuroraPartyCruiseSueV/OceanaAugust2009FjordsCruise?authkey=Gv1sRgCPSenbjJ_a7hXQ#5378441032851422274 Where are you going on the cruise? Its a good idea to research the ports of call before you go and decide whether to book trips with P&O or do your own thing. If you are sailing from Southampton you can take as much luggage as you want. A good tip is to take a extension socket 2/3 gang as there are only one or 2 plugs in cabin, and if you have mobiles, cameras etc to charge its easier. No need to take any towels as plenty of beach and bath towels in cabin. Any questions fire away Sue:)
