Door decorations

For those of you who decorate your door- where do you buy decorations to do so? My 3 year old would LOVE this :)

Any party supply store (Party City) or E-Bay. We always decorate our door. It makes it easier to find your cabin at 2 or 3 in the morning ;), and it's always a conversation starter with fellow cruisers. This was DH's 40th birthday

I've searched now (which is what I should have done to begin with :rolleyes:) and I have a couple of questions. Does anyone know if the doors on the Liberty are metal---everyone says use magnets but I don't want to get there and it not work. Well, I think I lied. Maybe I just had one question----although I'm sure the other one will come to me eventually :confused::rolleyes::confused:

Why don't you use those peel and stick decorations that are made for windows? They are made of plastic and they cling on the door and peel right off and you can re-use them for your next cruise. We just came back from the Glory and I put a few on our door so my father (82) would be able to find the door easily.

We buy the cling ons. I get them at Party City for 99cents. I have bought seasonal ones, patriotic ones and tropical fish ones. I also take sticky tack to put up anything additional, like our cruise critic sign or home made decorations. Have fun with it!

I bought the cutest tropical decorations for my nieces' door on our family cruise. Flip-flops.. palm trees.. smiley suns; they were really cute. We put them up as soon as we got into our rooms, finishing up right before muster. We came back to the room after muster and some had been pulled off and put on someone elses door.. and by the time we returned after dinner.. half were missing.. and by the morning all had been ripped off @#$% :mad:

Dollar Tree...affixed with duct tape. Not the end of the world if our pink flamingo is beheaded. :D

Our DGDs make signs for our family cruises using plain poster material. Here are some from our last spring break cruise on Triumph.

Our last cruise I decorated our door with funny pictures I found on the internet of animals with sayings about cruising. I printed them in color and glue sticked them to a large poster board. I used the tacky putty to stick the poster on the door.
