Miami Hotel good for Children

Hello. I am going on the Liberty out of Miami on Dec 17th. I have to fly in from San Diego, which is a hassle. Therefore, I am planning on coming in with my daughter two days early and my mom will meet us in Miami. I need to be able to stay at a place that has a good atmosphere for my little one - she is 5. I am seeking a great pool - possibly a water slide, or a playground... Any suggestions would be great. Cost is not the main focus for me on this one... fun for her is! Thanks all!:)

We stayed at the Holiday Inn - Port of Miami last October and are going again in 3 weeks.

 

Nice pool, no waterslide

It is directly across the street from the Bayside Market place which is an indoor/outdoor mall - lots of food options.

 

Directly beside Bayside Market is Bayside Park which has a great playground.

 

The hotel is also right on the route for the free people mover which is fund for kids. It is also only a 5 minute cab ride to the port.

We stayed at the InterContiental just up from Bayside Market. Really nice and got for a super rate on last minute travel. Cheaper then the Holiday Inn.
