Need a little help!!

We'll be cruising out of NOLA on Oct 8. We will be staying the night before in New Orleans. Has anybody ever stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites Maison St. Charles? And if so, how was it? They have a cruise package that looks pretty good, but as I've come to learn, looks can be deceiving. Any insight would be appreciated!

What price did you get for the cruise package.. Im always looking for a better hotel in new orleans cheaper than holiday inn superdome.

 

I have not stayed there, but you probably would get a better response if you posted this to the gulf ports departures boards, where everyone who is looking is out of mostly new orleans or galveston.

It's $139 a night and free parking for length of cruise.

Iv paid $99 the last two times for Holiday Inn Superdome and got garage parking and they have a free shuttle, but not allowed to pick you up .. but it can drop you in the french qtr and take you to the port. free parking during your cruise. Make sure you get the free cruise parking option as they have two cruise specials.

I tried that one but it was going to be $179 a night. :(

Maison St Charles is a nice place to stay. A bit of walk if going to Canal St. Their parking is in a gated open area. Taxi was $7 to the port. It was the host hotel for the Blogger's cruise in Feb 2009.
