Acey-SJ Posted August 8, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 8, 2011 Trying to decide between St. Andrews and St. Martins excursion from St. Johns. Any suggestions or advice on the two? St. Martins is the more popular excursion: - walking on sea floor (due to some of the highest tides in world) - fishing village - explore sea caves - restaurant on beach for fish chowder - miniature horses - 50 Min drive St. Andrew's is a seaside town: - quaint shops and galleries - historic Algonquin Resort and Golf Course - Whale Watching if you can time it with ship arrival / departure - 70 Min drive
cjcruises Posted August 17, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2011 Having lived in the area, I vote St Martin, unless you want to golf, in which case I would recomment St Andrews.
