Just booked our 2nd ever cruise!

Hey all! We just made a spur of the moment decision to book a Thanksgiving cruise on the Glory. The ports were just too tempting.

Our first cruise (just last year) was on the Legend, in a Vista Suite....this year, we are in an interior cabin-that will make for an interesting change!

Anyway, as great as Legend is, I'm looking forward to Glory as well..the Seaside theatre looks cool, as does the Serenity area. Looking forward to the Mongolian Grill option too!

I've read mixed reviews of the Glory, are they warranted? I know everyone's opinion is just that, an opinion, but surely it can't be as awful as some say....right?

Any tips on staying inside cabin? I know this may sound crazy, but should I bring a night light?

Thanks all!

never been on the Glory but I always do inside. I don't think it is necessary to have a balcony unless you will be following land alot, as in Alaska. As for a light, we left the bathroom light on and closed the door, leaving just a crack for light. That worked for us. Enjoy!

We have only been in an inside once and it was the best sleep EVER on a cruise...it was so dark you couldn't not sleep well...

I would bring a night light, as it is so dark it helps to manuever in the middle of the night...or for just a bit of "mood lighting";)

Insides are pitch black. There are light switches on the headboards but you might wake others. I leave the BR light on.

Glory is the ship I keep getting stuck at one of the MDR's with only up/down as option until I learned you could walk therough the MDR to get to where you wanted to go. I was messed up all week!!
