Conquest - bow to stern

I am getting so much info from all you CC members. Thanks to you all :).

Another thing I need to find out is what is the easiest way to get around the ship (Conquest)? What are the shortcuts to get to the MDR, Casino, Fun Shops, etc.? My cabin is on the Empress deck by the middle elevators which I would think is a good location. Funny thing was on my 1st cruise on Inspiration, I didn't realize that I couldn't go from front to back without having to go up and down steps on some decks. When I was on the Conquest it was like toward the end of the cruise was when you figured it all out. I want to have it figured out before I go. Don't laugh :p . I know I have almost 11 months left . Maybe by then, I will know the ship by heart :D.

The only two decks that do not go thru are the ones where the dining rooms and galley is located. You cant go thru the kitchen .. so have to go up or down. easy to remember to me. look on the deck plans where the dining rooms are, and you will know to avoid those.

Easiest to me was go to promenade deck and across.

The middle elevators are your best bet for avoiding the crowds along the Promenade in the evening. I come out of the MDR, go up to deck 4 through the Cigar bar to the elevators where they emerge on the Promenade just behind the Casino and Impressions bar. It avoids all those picture taking venues that get so clogged up in the evening.

If I want to go from midship on the Promenade I go through the Sports bar on the forward side of the casino to get out to the atrium area.

I'm usually on the upper deck at the forward elevators, so to go to dinner I just walk aft along deck 6 then down to deck 3 for the MDR
