karajeboo Posted August 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2011 I'm looking for a private charter in Grand Cayman that adds those "extra" touches, like bringing tubes for the kids to go tubing. We want to snorkel and hit Stingray City. Either 3 or 5 adults, and 2 children. Any suggestions?
Grandpaul Posted August 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Try Captain Marvin. I've used them many times. Excellent. E-mail them with your questions and they will answer them promptly.
TurtleTagger Posted August 19, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2011 Never used this outfit, but ran into them at Starfish Beach and the family on board was raving about them...Out Rage Charters
edgars Posted August 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 23, 2011 We are doing the Outrage tours in April and very much looking forward to it. We have read great things. We exchanged a couple emails with the Captain and we are all set. We have the option of going on the Boston Whaler Outrage or his Sailboat. He takes a max of 6 people. Very personal. HALrunner Posted September 27, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Did you book your Out Rage tour through Island Marketing? How was it?
edgars Posted September 27, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2011 I have not been on the tour yet (April 2012). I think we booked it directly through him. Although I have read that most book through Island Marketing.

edgars Posted August 19, 2012 #9 Share Posted August 19, 2012 jmvbs@candw.ky His name is John Michael Stafford. Say hi to him from the Edgars. It was a very nice outing with him. And the weather didn't exactly cooperate. Highly recommended. Have fun.
Fraucruiser Posted August 31, 2012 #10 Share Posted August 31, 2012 We just returned from Grand Cayman....we went with Sun Rays Tours. The best excursion we have ever had in our 10 years of cruising!
Cruisintink Posted September 6, 2012 #11 Share Posted September 6, 2012 We just returned from Grand Cayman....we went with Sun Rays Tours. The best excursion we have ever had in our 10 years of cruising! I'm so disappointed. Been reading through these boards and finally decided to go with Sun Rays Tours and find out they are not operating during hurricane season (we cruise over Thanksgiving). So back to the drawing board... any other recommendations?
karajeboo Posted September 10, 2012 Author #12 Share Posted September 10, 2012 I see this is my old thread that was reopened. We ended up using Fat Fish Adventures and already have them booked again for our next cruise! I HIGHLY recommend them!!! Great experience! :D
