Last minute rate drop

I am booked on the Triumph on 9-1-11. We booked under the more the merrier sale and have 5 in our balcony cabin and also 5 in an oceanview. The rates are both $80 less today, but they wont give me an OBC because they say we are in the penalty are and are too close to sailing. however they offered to "upgrade us down the hall to midship". Is this correct. I watched rates fall other times and they have always given us an OBC. Just curious

With the singular exception of Early Saver fare code bookings price drops beyond final payment are not awarded the difference in OBC.

I'm not familiar with that rate, but I think only those booked Early Saver can get OBC this close to sailing. Upgrades, yes. OBC, no.

 

If I'm wrong, someone will correct me. :)

I know what u mean...I upgraded to a balcony and it's 60 cheaper 12 hours later...grrrr
