Alaskan Cruises - Kids?

Does the RCCL Alaskan itineraries tend to have a lot of kids and decent kids' clubs (thinking more middle/high school ages)?

 

We are considering it but my kids want to know if they will be similarly entertained as they would be if we were to do a Caribbean route.

I have done both Radiance (southbound) and Rhapsody (R/T out of Seattle) and there were kids of all ages on both cruises, however there were more kids on the Rhapsody cruise. Hope this helps.

Yes the kids will be entertained,This year they are teaching the kids,how to wrestle Brown bears:D

An alaskan cruise is much much different than a carribean cruise. depending on when you sail there isn't a whole lot of "pool" fun that normally happens in the carribean. Its more a hot choclate in the game room type of cruise when you are at sea.

Be that as it may, there will still be many of the regular Adventure Ocean programs for your kids, and the views of the spectacular scenery and Alaskan wildlife should be extremely satisfying for them and you. Weather may even be warmer than the "hot chocolate" reference would indicate. Radiance has a pool in the covered solarium and there are usually certain hours in the day when your kids would be able to make use of it, regardless of the outside temperatures and weather conditions.:)
