Handicap Room on Freedom picture

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a picture of an Oceanview Handicap room on the Freedom? Are they any larger than the regular oceanview rooms?

I dont have a picture of an oceanview, but we have stayed in an inside handicap, actually my sons because one of the uses a wheelchair, the cabins are aproximately 1.5 - 2x the size of a regular cabin, it has room to manouver around in a wheelchair. Also the bathroom is larger for the same reason and the shower is totally level with the floor so it can be accesed with a wheelchair.

Not to be judgemental, if you or the person traveling with you uses a wheelchair or has mobility problems where the extra room is needed, by all means get one of these cabins, they are great and very scarse throughout the ships, usually when we travel with the kids, we book 1 handicap and 1 regular one next to it or as close as possible and we book as early as possible, about a year out. If on the other hand you dont need it and just want the extra space, please reconsider because they really are very few and for someone in a wheelchair, its practically impossible to travel in a regular cabin.

Have a great cruise
