cheaptravel Posted August 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2011 We won't be arriving in OSJ until later on a Friday night ... by the time we get checked into our hotel and drop off the bags it will be after 10pm. Just wondering if the local restaurants are still serving meals at this time in Old San Juan ? If we have to we'll grab something at the hotel, but I'd rather venture out .... I"ve googled some of the popular spots but their websites don't list serving times. Anybody know ?
orquidia Posted August 29, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 29, 2011 most do, it is rare to have dinner at 5:30 or 6pm here, people tend to go to restaurants past 7:30pm, usually later during summer since sunset is at 7pm and most close doors at 11 or 12 in San Juan. sail7seas Posted August 29, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2011 As soon as you get to your hotel, why not call and attempt to make a reservation. They'll tell you if you are too late to come. (Most U.S. cell phone plans provide for no roaming/charges for calls made in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.)
