Good afternoon, SMDers!

Happy Sunday and what a beautiful day here in Florida with a high in the upper 70's. What a wonderful life so far for our retirement.

Mimi, I bought a Ipod Touch 32gb that my grandaughter wants but no deals on that I paid $299. Then a bought a filing cabinet for $59. Whoopee another no deal for me. I am still looking for my TV.

Will do some Xmas shopping tomorrow, I hope. I just have too much to do. I will not be happy until my place looks first class.

Rich, I am sorry that you were sick and I hope that you are feeling better. We are flying in as well I think. We maybe driving and taking an extra week to do it. Just don't know yet.

OK gang back to work.

OK, we all know that your retired now! lol

Hi Kathy.

Cathy - don't run out and buy a TV yet. They say that there is going to be some real good deals to be had on TV's before Xmas. Shop around and get a good deal.

OK, now IF I were you and Kenny, and IF your not in a rush, and IF I had nothing else to do, and IF, OK enough of that. What I would do is get up early and drive to someplace like Gulfport, Miss for the night (about a 8 hour drive) getting there midafternoon to check out the town and "casino's". Then drive to Houston the next day (about a 6 hour drive) and since your going right by the Hobby airport, stop and pick up Mimi and Andy or Janet and Judie (or who ever is already there) and drive down IH 45 for another 45 mins to Galveston. Might be cheaper then flying and you would get a chance to see some of the country. That's what I would do IF I had nothing else to do:p.

Good morning, SMDers!

Happy end of Novemeber to you all. Another beautiful day here in sunny Florida then the bottom falls out tomorrow. Today in the 80's and tomorrow in the upper 60's burrr!lol

We are taking my baby Twinkie to the vet today as he has a hot spot. I took them both yesterday for a bubble bath and they now smell so very good.

Just a couple of errands to do today and then rest for a bit. Once we get everything done we can start our exercising at the gym and riding bikes.

Chat later.

Rich, Twinkie got a shot for the hot spot, however, he looked at his chart and was not happy with what he saw and wanted to do a complete work up exrays and blook and the nurse stood outside with a big spoon while he went pee pee. $430 later we found out he has more fluid on his lungs and has COPD (I guess I gave him that) a bunch of bladder stones that need to come out at $1400 and the biggie is an enlarged liver which we won't know until tommorrow what that chit is about. The end result is we may have to put him to sleep. My 11 year old baby which I will hold all night in my arms. So no chatting for me. Will let you know what happens.

Good morning, SMDers!

Thanks for the prayers and thoughts of my Twinkie. We are waiting not so patiently this morning. Well he is sleeping and I have no patients.

Chilly here today with a high in the 60's, however, it is beautiful with the sunny skies.

We are going nowhere today as we have to wait for the IPOD Touch I got my DGD for Christmas to be delivered. They require a signature. I hope so as it cost $300. That is her big present for sure. DGS will get gift cards as I don't want to send him money. Most of my shopping will be online as I just can't do all that walking.

Well chat later. Time to pay my rent.
