Valor or Freedom

I see the Valor and Freedom have the same itinerary leaving from Ft. Lauderdale. Valor is $100. less than Freedom. Which would you choose if just based on the condition and activities of the ship? Valor has been refurbished lately and the Freedom has not. Anyone been on both?
