LizziePie8 Posted March 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Has anyone done the clear kayak excursion in Cozumel? Was the water clear? Could you really see a lot of fish, etc? Is there a way to do this NOT through the cruiseline? Liz
Chelsea17 Posted March 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Hi, My husband and I did the Clear Kayak Adventure last year in May. We booked it thru RCCL so I'm not sure if it is offered privately or who you would even contact to find out about booking it that way. We did have a terrific time. You basically just paddle around right off shore and the guide points out the types of fish and coral. I saw more fish and interesting coral here than I did in Grand Cayman (thought it would be the opposite). After the kayaking, we got to rest at this cool beach club called Uvas. The beach club is right on the water. There were cool outdoor couches covered in white leather (or pleather maybe) to rest on under palm trees. There were also clean showers, lockers, food & beer available, and a small pool you could take a dip in. I would highly recommended this excursion! solita Posted March 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2005 It is only available thru a tour. The reef they use is nice and LOTS of fish!
LuciaA Posted March 29, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2005 Here's the link for that tour, at $49 per adult. What does RCCL charge for it? http://gocozumel.com/kayaks-snorkeling-uvas/
