Is the Lido open for Dinner buffet every night of the cruise? Thanks Dinners in the Lido Restaurant aren't buffet-style. They are served to you on tablecloths similar to the main restaurant - you just don't have to dress for dinner...
sail7seas Posted March 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2005 We never have our dinner in Lido but I think that you serve yourself salads, sides etc and the steward serves your entree do you. Brian is correct that they 'dress up' Lido in the evening and put nice cloths on the tables and it is attractive. I think you may serve yourself dessert.....but I imagine a steward would get you anything you wanted if you asked.

I like being served ... but, no way in hell am I getting all gussied up for as many formal nights as there will probably be on a 30-day Amsterdam cruise! :) The Lido ... and my "Aloha" shirts ... will work fine for some of those nights. :) Blue skies ... --rita
