Palmetto Bay Plantation

Has anybody actually been on the excursion with the Canopy Tour and Palmetto Bay Plantation? Is the beach nice? How is the snorkeling? What else is there to do besides the canopy tour here? I've read a few reviews on the canopy tour itself, but haven't heard anything about the resort part. Trying to find out as much as I can.

The palmetto bay canopy tour is NOT by pametto bay plantation. It is all by itself and you start and finish in rustic settings, not at the beach. But I would highly recommend it.
