Constellation - Tips - Envelope or Automatic?

Does the Celebrity Constellation do its tips by envelopes or account charge?

Both. Before the last day, you are given a chance to charge your tip to your account. If you do charge to your account, you will get a credit slip. The day before departing, you will be given tip envelopes. You can then put cash, your credit slip or both in the envelope.

We just returned from the Constellation. They make it really easy to charge tips to your ship board account. Be aware that the form for tips has to be to guest relations early afternoon of the day before the last day. We had an early shore excursion and almost missed going to guest relations.

I always like handing the person their envelope. We then get to tell them how much we appreciated everything they did for us. I have never been on 1 ship that they haven't gone out of their way.

Since there are at least five envelopes to give out, do they provide five credit slips?

You still hand them an envelope.... The waiter will take care of the tip for the maitre de and teh room steward will pass along the envelope to the head housekeeper etc. They seemed just as happy to get the automatic tipping. Write you name an d cabin number on the envelope...
