We just found out that we have an upgrade on Queen Victoria,Cunard, leaving from Venice.Ports of call:Split,Dubrovnik,Corfu,Alexandria, Kusadasi,Istanbul,Dikili, Volos and Athens.WE have A3-Deck 7- Stateroom 7100,Port aft. Has anyone had this cabin? Is this a good upgrade from Deck 4,Stateroom 4025,Starboard? We are quite exited, but would like more info please. Thanks!:):):)

I don't think side of ship matters much, because you don't know how the ship will dock in each port. Port is the good side for sailaway from Venice, but you will get a better view if you go out on deck where you can move to see both sides of the Guidecca. As for location, you might want to as on the Cunard board, under Cruise Lines A-O. EM

Thank you Essiesmom, you might not remember but I asked same question awhile back. You had said that I was a little too much in front for your preference. With the upgrade, are we now in a better location(from your experience) or are we too much in the back? Thanks.:)
