MissMontana Posted September 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2011 First cruise with Oceania. Oceania say they require passengers to have the Yellow Fever Vaccination. "WHO" advise people over 60 years of age not to have this, especially if it it their first shot, not a booster. Has anyone who is booked on this cruise and over the age of 60 years, opted out of having the vaccination? If so, did you present a certificate from your doctor, and have you had any negative reaction from Oceania?

That was a few years ago. We are on this cruise, and you'll get more responses by posting on the Roll Call section. This is something you should discuss with your doctor if he/she feels you should not get the shot have the waiver signed by the doctor to present to the authorities of the country where the shots are required Some people for medical reason cannot have the shot You can check each Countries requirements http://www.voyage.gc.ca/index-eng.asp
