Onboard booking South America

Have posted this on Roll call. 2013 is our 35th anniversary & we will be on Eclipse in the Caribbean 11/11. Have never booked onboard, but think now is the time. South America Cruise is on our bucket list. Suggestions re when, which cabin, pre & post tours. Iguazu Falls vs Macchu Piccu? We would book verandah if the verandah is useful. Not Concierge or Aqua (pockets not that deep). Understand there is an upgrade as well as OBC. Details? Thanks for any help.

Would suggest BA to Valapariso with a pre cruise trip to Igauzu. Book the pre cruise on your own to save money and use the Sheraton Iguazu for your stay there. Two nights. Igauzu is one place my wife and I would go back to in SA. If you have the time do the entire circle from BA to Miami or if more limited do post cruise trip to Machu Pichu. January might mean more penguins in some locations. Did this as March repo and still saw many. Booking on oboard should get a $300 OBC. Veranda good idea. Great trip. After booking you might switch to a TA who offers more OBC.
