You will love cruising and Oceania! You can make friends and share private tours with others on your cruise if you go to your Roll Call. Just look for the Roll Call board, then Oceania, then find your ship, then your sailing date. Cruise Critic is a fantastic place for cruise information and especially for first time cruisers. That is a wonderful choice for a first cruise, you will love every minute of it. Our first was Venice to Barcelona in 2007. In 2 months exactly, we land in Rome to begin our 3rd cruise, all 3 on O, and we have our 4th booked for a year from now.. I posted a review of that first cruise here on CC in O ct 2007.We were on Regatta; there is great guide information on it. I am using two of the same guides on this upcoming cruise. I noticed I misspelled Venice! :o Be sure to check out the Board called Ports. There is a lot of good information there. I also love the Oceania board. CC is great! I hope you booked some extra days in Rome and Venice. It would be a shame to be in those cities and not spend some time there. Have a wonderful cruise!!
