T5LHR Posted September 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2011 For almost double the fare is a P3 worth it for a west bound crossing? I suppose it depends which aspects of it you value more... If it is the Grills experience you value, then there is your answer... However, if it is the outside space and view, then I would imagine, if you can get one of the A4 cabins with the least restricted view, then maybe that would be a better way to go. I have 8014 for my Westbound TA next year, and with the same dilemma as you, cost, it was the best option for me. As a solo, prices were just astronomical to consider anything above the A grade cabins, and I got a good deal on an A4, so that is what I took. cunardfanatic Posted September 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2011 put it this way waaaay back in april 2010 i booked an upcoming cruise for december this year in an inside D8 cabin for a little over £550 I then read up on what extra benefits I would receive as a grills passenger and tripled my original price so go for it you will enjoy every moment and the grills exclusive venues are a nice little place to get away from all the hustle and bustle if you come across any on such a large ship not to mention you have open dining so you can eat when ever you like compared to early or late sittings. let us know on what you decided but more importantly whichever category you choose you will enjoy the voyage J
