Post Wedding Bar/Rest - Needhams Point

Hi, I am trying to help my friend who is planning her beach wedding on Needhams Point Beach. The wedding is going to be fairly casual, and she is looking for a destination to go after the ceremony to be able to enjoy cocktails/music/beach. She wants to have FUN (she was looking for a Carlos N Charlies type atmosphere). While I don't believe there are C&C on the island, there must be some fun locations in the vicinity that would be similar to what she is looking for.

 

I am afraid that maybe the Hilton bar/area might not be quite lively enough, although I may suggest she think about considering day passes for after the wedding and enjoying the beach, etc.

 

If she's not interested in that though, I've seen places like the Boatyard, Lobsters Alive and Harbour Lights, but I am not certain if these are 'in the neighborhood' and fit the bill. We are not in our 20's, but we aren't in our 80's either. Ha, more like very fun loving 40 somethings.

We are renewing our vows at Needhams Point on Sept. 27th, and have Habour Lights helping set up a small reception for us. I think they are about 10 minutes from each other. I'll let you know what I think when I return, around Oct.10th.

 

It's our 25th anniversary, so we are in our late 40's......

Congratulations on your vow renewal and 25 yrs. Great accomplishment. I'm sure the ceremony will be beautiful. If you can provide more info on HL when you would return, I would really appreciate it. :D
