snow bunny Posted September 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2011 Can you just book Bananara in port instead of paying before your cruise? This will be our third trip there, once with a Bodden Tour. We have always paid ahead of time other than when we stopped there on the Bodden Tour. In that case we just paid for the chair rental and then continued on having a wonderful beach day. Highlight of the cruise according to my kids! You can always hire a taxi to take you there when you arrive in port but IMHO I think the best deal is by booking ahead (transportation, chair, and welcome drink) unless you are worried about the weather. pasta1 Posted September 20, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 20, 2011 Thank you for the reply. That was our thought with the weather . Last year in October we were deverted on the Ryandam because of a storm going to the same places.
Rare crewsweeper Posted September 21, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Can you just book Bananara in port instead of paying before your cruise? Not if you book directly through Bananarama. However, they do have a full refund policy if your ship misses port. And they are very aware of ships schedules and ships missing port. Your driver will be out watching for you and if he sees the ship not pulling in or hears from other drivers the ship is not coming into port, he'll inform the resort. If you cancel on your own, there is a cancellation fee.
serene56 Posted September 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2011 You take chances of it being booked solid when you arrive. Doing it like that-- have a back up plan too
