only somewhat related to the post. the first time we sailed to bermuda i checked my aol account at the post office in st. georges. didn't know that the kiosk had sound, so when "you've got mail" came at me at about 1000 decibles i screamed and jumped. not worth it for a few spams. now i just let it all build up till i get back home.

That looks like something that would happen to me...lol.

Not a direct answer to the specific question, but...

Docked in Hamilton, I picked up something called Island Wifi (network name HamltionWifi6 or 9) that sold eight hours for $5 and worked about half the time.

If your in Hamilton, you can go to the Library, I do believe you can use free Wi-Fi for an hour

  • 3 weeks later...

I was going to lug my laptop with me, but checked my connections, and TBI Internet popped up.

I clicked on that, and it cost $14.95 for 72 hrs from my room. SWEET!!

It is well worth the money to me..I don't like buying the ship's internet minutes.

We will be leaving Bermuda at 1pm, so I am stil on the service, well worth the money.

Melanie
