worldspan Posted September 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2011 I was on the short 4 night maiden voyage of Oasis in December of 2009 and then the same on Allure in December of 2010. Much to my amazement at the luncheon buffet in Windjammer on the island with the salads on both ships were piles of shelled cold shrimp ready for cocktail sauce and lemon. I was in heaven! That said, when I sailed on Radiance this past Easter no shrimp to be seen in the Windjammer. Now I am booked on Allure for the Thanksgiving cruise in two months and my question to other board members who may have sailed on Allure/Oasis 7 nighter recently, did you see all the shrimp I am refering to offered in the Windjammer at lunch ? Your responses are appreciated! Worldspan 129 cruises strong

appstate 92 Posted September 21, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2011 Well I was hoping that there would have been as positive response to this by now. Wife and I are leaving in the morning for Ft. Lauderdale. We are on the Oasis Saturday. I'll have a response when I return. Unless I eat all they have. Rare silentbob007 Posted September 22, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I've only seen them on special sailings ... ie, holiday sailings, maiden voyages (as per your example), etc.
ZoeyVictoria Posted September 22, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2011 I think the shrimp were a special treat for the occasion, as well as the grilled lobster tails on Labadee for the Allure sailing. I was also amazed when I spotted the lobster, but never went to the WJ, so I missed the shrimp :(
