brunello22 Posted September 27, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2011 Has anyone had expereince with this hotel. It is rated as four *.I got a great deal, for a two night stay 168.00$.We will be there pre cruise Oct. 20-22. We stayed at the Mayfair over July 4 weekend for a "getaway" from Fort Lauderdale and enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is nice and very unique. We didn't use the private jacuzzi on the balcony, as it was an additional $30 to have it filled. The rooftop pool area is OK, but has a nice view looking east to the bay. Parking was pricey, so rather than valet at the hotel, we parked across the street at CocoWalk. If you don't have a car, don't worry, as the location of the hotel is great and within walking distance to everything. Be sure to have dinner at Jaguar (next to CocoWalk)! cwagner99 Posted September 28, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2011 We will also be staying here in a few weeks. How does parking work across the street? Is it a garage that you pay for?
brunello22 Posted September 28, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2011 We will also be staying here in a few weeks. How does parking work across the street? Is it a garage that you pay for? Yes, there is a parking garage across the street from the hotel at CocoWalk. We parked there for 2 nights and I believe the cost to park was $24 total ( we had no need to use the car ). There are no in and out privileges with parking there. Whereas with the hotel valet, you pay per night, which may be $25-$30/day, but there are in and out privileges. If you don't need the car during your stay, parking in the CocoWalk garage is your best bet. Enjoy your stay!
