Marina--is the Terrace Cafe carpeted? Wonder about noise.

We were on the Marina less than a year ago, but I can't recall if the Terrace Cafe is carpeted. I have friends who are thinking of booking an A 1 category cabin directly beneath this area. If it's carpeted, then they shouldn't experience noise from above during meal times or set up. I told them I was sure one of you would help me with this question.

Hi Again, Linda!

 

Please tell your friends that the A1 cabins on deck 11 are just aft of the forward staircase which puts them under the pool deck, not under the restaurant.

 

They may be thinking about one of the A2 cabins (11064 and 11067), which are further aft, and are under the Terrace Cafe.

 

In the section in question, the Terrace Cafe has carpeting under the tables, but none in the walkway that runs parallel with the buffet which is tile.

You are, of course, right. It's the A 2 I was speaking of. I just knew that you would remember if it was carpeted.
