iupalum Posted September 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2011 so excited to sail this beautiful vessel!! going with a bunch (and by that I mean A BUNCH) of family May 19th from ft. lauderdale to nassau, st. thomas, and st. maarten. I had a couple of questions about money, though. after my last cruise on carnival, i'm hooked on roulette. :) how much is the minimum bet on RCCL? how much is bingo? i admit...i'm a wuss when it comes to drinking. i am a lightweight and cannot handle heavy liquor. i do, however, love fruity drinks. i am a HUGE fan of the Kiss on the Lips on Carnival, which for those not familiar, it is peach schnapps, mango-something or other, grenadine. does RCCL have anything similar? or any other suggestions for a froo-froo drink? :) thanks for any feedback!! sailingawaysoon Posted September 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2011 I can't answer your question about the minimum bet, but I can tell you that the Oasis is a beautiful ship and the casino will blow you away. Regarding the fruity drinks, try the love connection. It's a great foo foo drink. The blend mango, pina colada and strawberry daquari and add some rum. It's a very tasty drink. Enjoy your cruise w/your big group. I know you will love it!

phoenix1181 Posted September 28, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 28, 2011 I believe the minimum is $5.00 fo Roulette. Don't play Bingo so I can't help there. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=586 What's the point of this post? It doesn't answer the question. tfrcal Posted September 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2011 Bingo, in my opinion, is a rip off. We played one time and it cost us approximately fifty dollars for a game that lasted twenty minutes tops. YMMV :D
Rare silentbob007 Posted September 28, 2011 #7 Share Posted September 28, 2011 There may be electronic roulette games with $.10 minimums. They can be fun too.
jlrn366419 Posted September 29, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Was on Oasis a few weeks ago. Roulette was $5 min and bingo was $55 for the electronic version and less for the paper cards. The first full day there was a bingo to win an upgrade during current cruise to a crown loft suite. There was also a win a cruise bingo. The sessions I attended had 4 games total. Rare Familygoboston Posted September 29, 2011 #9 Share Posted September 29, 2011 I'm not a big drinker either and especially not in the hot sun- I go virgin so I can enjoy all the tropical flavor and the cute umbrella without all the dehydration:D
JillLovesTravel Posted September 29, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 29, 2011 There is a five dollar minimum to play red or black in Roulette but you can place a one dollar chip on a single number as your minimum bet. You must get colored chips to play on the numbers of course.
