which beach break with teens?

Our group of 10 includes 5 young teens who would LOVE an active beach day at Costa Maya. Which resort(s) are the best for teens AND would include lunch for us all?

Maya Chan is a great spot. There are beach games, biking, kayaking, snorkling, and they can arrange scuba, the food is great and they can make amazing "virgin" cocktails for the teens, but they don't have motorized ski-dos. At least they didn't when we were there. If the group wants a fantastic "natural" day, then Maya Chan is the place for you. The people that own it and their staff are very nice and a lot of fun. They have computers available so anyone can contact those back home and check e-mail without the hassle on ship. I would not consider going to Costa Maya without going to Maya Chan. You will feel like you are leaving good friends by the time they have to pry you away and take you back to the ship.;) Contact Mark at costamayabeachresort.com and ask about activities for teens. Just wanted to post a note that our 5 teens really enjoyed (as did we) the beach day at Maya Chan. They are still smiling about the crazy jungle mini golf game! The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Go - you'll like it!
