aquatour and snorkeling excursions

Has anyone done the aquatour boat snorkeling excursion? We will be in Curacao in March 2012. Both the ship (Celebrity Constellation) and the private operators offer this trip. Do you actually get to SEE some of the island from the water? Is the snorkeling part of the trip worthwhile? Any info would be helpful!

All good snorkeling is right off the beach. Playa Lagoon has really good snorkeling with high cliffs on both sides. they have turtles and moreys that live in that area. My favorite place, but you will need car to get there. Jan Thiel is also good. Blue Bay area is great also. Also, for great care and friendly people and a wonderful snorkel, go to The Dive Bus. Not far from the port.
