tamyrussell Posted October 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2011 I have currently booked a tour with Bodden Tours for next week (2 people)...I understand the per person price; however, unsure on their tipping policy. Does anyone have any experience here? I see it as a service and thus the need/want to tip...but, if the per person price includes a service charge of sorts...don't want to over pay. Any advice or help is appreciated!
rhcpchika1 Posted October 14, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2011 I haven't used them yet, but from my research I have found that most people do $20 total. (For a couple)
Putterdude Posted October 14, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2011 For a half day tour we usually tip $10 pp and for a full day tour $20 pp.
lovevacadays Posted October 15, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2011 The price per person doesn't include a "service charge" or tip. That price goes to Victor Bodden the owner. The tip would be for your tour guide. I hope you get as good as a tour guide as we did in Tex. We tipped him $20 dollars each (2 of us). I would typically tip $10 each but we loved our tour with him so much that we couldn't help but tip him what we did.
