Best "Resort" Scuba Island experience?

We will be going on our second cruise in December. Our desinations are

St. Thomas

Barbados

St. Lucia

St.Kitts

St.Maarten

and then San Juan

My question is since my wife is not a certified diver (I am) we want to get one day at one of these stops to do a couple of the typically shallower dives that come with a day resort type class. But I want the best experience for her. My preference is to have our main designated island for scuba and then a backup if the main is rainy or other bad weather.

I have read that the Scuba is not that great off Barbados but I could be wrong. I have been scuba diving in the Bahamas (very very high visibility but not much fish life on my visit) and Belize (very windy day poor visibility) but my favorite was off Key Largo in Florida. I saw so much diversity of fish life and the corals were great even though the visibility was just so so the days I was there.

Anyhow again, I am looking for the opinions of those that have visited most of these sites and if so which dive sites did you use. We have 8 am to 5 pm or 6pm at all the sites so we are not too limited on time.
