Single GTY M0 on QE2

I have a GTY (guaranteed) M0 cabin on the QE2 for the 16th April cruise.

The tickets came through and it still says GTY. I know that M0 is the very least I will get, but I just wondered what the chances are of being upgraded to a better cabin. (I assume that if all the single M0's are taken you get bumped up to a higher grade). So is it benefical for me to arrive on time at Southampton or should I try and get there a bit later? Any ideas?

You'll most likely be put in an M class double occupancy cabin (from personal experience). They'll have your cabin assignment before departure day; you can probably call and get the cabin number next week.
