Upgrade fairy!

We just got news from TA that we are upgraded from a BG to BB on the Ruby in January. We are on the Caribe deck and supposedly these have the bigger balconies! Fun!:D

Yes, me too! I went from an E category (highest category OV Obstructed) to a BC balcony!:D

I suspect there is purposely no specific method Princess uses to decide who gets an upgrade and who does not. If there was, all us ultra-clever CCers would figure it out and game the system. Seems to me the random method might just be the best.

 

The only thing for sure is you won't get an upgrade if you're already in the best suite on board!

Oh fabulous! That's a great upgrade to those wonderful, larger balconies.

 

I love those upgrades. I've been lucky enough to have two. First one from an Aloha deck balcony to a dolphin mini and second from an Obstructed view on Emerald deck to a full oceanview on Plaza. Loved both of those upgrades.
