gtaylor Posted October 23, 2011 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2011 Check this page for some 'local' artists and their galleries. The Wednesday/Saturday Marigot Marketplace offers some local artists with art prints, jewelry and such, along with the 'same stuff, different island' items. (click) I know that Joyce Prince offers an 'Art Tour' Maybe a tour of the art galleries on our island, or a tour of shopping points? Any specifics of what you might be looking for? gary
merinski Posted October 23, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 23, 2011 How do you get to this market & did you mean it is only open those 2 days? We are there on a Fri.
gtaylor Posted October 23, 2011 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2011 The big days for the Marigot Marketplace are Wednesday and Saturday, but there are many vendors there during the rest of the week. (Not so much on Sunday) Most visitors are on a tour or take a taxi from the Cruise Facility. It's possible to get there by local bus, but I don't thaink that many cruisers actually use that option. gary
