Allure Stateroom Question

Hi All

 

We sailed on Oasis last September as our first cruise and loved every minute of it. Sailed Celebrity recently and whilst very different ambience and ship, just as enjoyable and loved that too but the entertainment was shocking :eek: Shows were awful so ended up just sitting around in the bars most evenings.

 

So next year, October 2012, we're going to book a stay & cruise with Orlando and then Western Caribbean on Allure and we're really looking forward to it.

 

Our question is, on Oasis we had a D2 stateroom (9614) which was picked for us as we hadn't a clue then and didn't know about cruise critic. Now we've already cruised, we can research on here good cabins. Whilst we thought we'd want another D2, looking at the brochure, D3 - D7 all seem to be good too with sea views and unobstructed views. We like to stay high up but not bothered whether we are middle, aft or forward so we're thinking a D7 is just as good for us and cheaper.

 

I cannot seem to find a thread on cabin reviews for RCI like you get with Celebrity. Is there such one so we can see reviews of specific cabins or can people recommend any good ones or tell us the ones definately not to pick??
