Galveston Parking Instructions

Do these lots sell out? How far in advance should you reserve?

when there used to be two RCL ships and one princess and two carnival ships going out year round, ezcruise could overflow to their 2nd lot.

doesnt happen that often any more. but disney and princess are coming back in 2012 .. so parking will also pick up, more demand.

Galveston Park n Cruise.....drop your luggage off at the terminal go across the street to park and then walk the 2-3 minute walk to the terminal...easy easy!! Their indoor is acutally inside a building that they lock up everynight and its very reasonable!! $40 for a 5 day cruise!

discount parking is a little further, but its either on the shorter or longer that one is $5 cheaper than some of the other names.

If you stay at howard johnsons across the street, you can park free and use their shuttle for $5 pp. Keep costs down more, drop off everyone but the driver.

Is this the Howard Johnson at I45 and Harborside? I have a reservation there. What do they use for a shuttle and can you get it both ways? Any concerns about leaving vehicles there? Thanks!

Clarification...are you saying park at the hotel and get a $5 ride...or staying at the hotel entitles you to park in that lot and a $5 ride? Cheaper than taxi? Thanks again.
