island_2001 Posted October 25, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2011 Does anyone know anything about this stateroom? I am trying to find info on what is around it (don't want to be under/over a casino or disco) wondering if it is near the food? And i saw something like that room might have an upper pullman? Is that instead of a loveseat/sofa? I would kinda like an extra area to sit, such as the sofa. Any advice would be great- only been on one cruise before and that was a few years ago with royal caribbean. Thanks!

I hate to pay to join and there not be any pictures of my stateroom.... or will there at least be layouts? I personally use cruiselineroomsDOTcom. It is free and hopefully other cruisers have posted pictures of their cabin either of or near mine. You can also check other ships from the same Class as yours. For example we are booked on Legend cabin 5238 but on Spirit listing that cabin has pictures .. same class different ship but same cabin layout. okgirl Posted October 25, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) It's a great location. I usually book 6294 which is next door towards the atrium. It's quiet, far enough back on the hall that people generally start talking in their quiet voices when leaving the elevator lobby. Easy access down the stairs to the promenade, it's really more over the gift shop rather than the sports bar. I've never smelled smoke or heard any noise from the casino either. It will have a pull down from the ceiling, no sofa. To have more room I would leave the beds on the floor as twins, that will give you more walking around room. vttea Posted March 8, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 8, 2014 I just changed my room assignment to 6298 (from 6330). I wanted to get away from the Casino and other noisy venues below this deck and still have a pull down bed. To figure out where 6298 is, I took an image of the plans for the Promenade (5th) and Upper (6th) decks, resized them to be the same, and lined them up to determine where 6298 lands. Assuming the deck plans are accurate, 6298 lands partially over the Glove sports bar and partially over the atrium area (which should be quieter). The cabin's entryway is over the sports bar, and we should be laying our heads over the quieter part of the Promenade deck. Okgirl's suggestion of room 6294 works better because it's completely over the atrium, but it does not have a third bed. For an inside room with a third bed that's completely over the atrium, the only one I see is 6325.
