ToddlerMom Posted October 30, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2011 We'll be in the Western Caribbean (Cozumel, Grand Cayman & Montego Bay) on Carnival Magic at the end of March. We'll be taking DD off the ship with us. DD will be 2 at the time we sail and we would only go in a car or van if she's in a carseat. So that means we need excursion ideas that are either within walking distance (preferable but probably not likely) or where we can easily find a cab with seatbelts. We want to swim with the dolphins one day. The other days, I think we just want to go to the beach. Any ideas?
cb at sea Posted October 31, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 31, 2011 Have your researched your ports??? A guidebook will tell you ALL you need to know to go it alone! Honestly, a library has them....a guidebook is your best friend!
Woodmnky Posted November 1, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2011 The dolphin encounter in Grand Cayman is a short ride from the port. It was relatively small. It was very clean and seemed very nice (we only observed and did not participate). I believe that they allowed 1 parent to participate while the other stayed with the little one and then to switch off. I'm also visiting Cozumel and am at a loss as to what to do, so I can't help you there. Enjoy your cruise.
